Creative Studio Architects was commissioned by Denison University to design a new $8m, 22,000 square foot administration building on the northern portion of campus. We started the design process with a series of workshops and tours with about 100 building users to build consensus on the vision and design for the project.

The new building consists of a variety of meeting rooms, a social café, private and open office areas, collaborative spaces, technology workrooms, and other amenities. We designed the building specifically with a “zig-zag” shape to fit the building onto the site to minimize impact to existing utilities, the nature preserve, and the nearby floodplain.

Creative Studio Architects completed the discovery, design, and Construction Documents for the building on an accelerated schedule of approximately 3 months. Construction was completed in Spring of 2024 with an on-time delivery.
